My life is rather weird
It was something I feared.
I was afraid of new things
And what they might bring.
I was unsure of the future
And somewhat still am.
But my vision is clearer
As my heart draws nearer.
I am giving all I have
In this life for Him,
I know I will win
This battle within.
It has been difficult
With everyday struggles,
I would want to die
Or in His arms, snuggle.
I have come to see
That He is in control
And what my role,
Is in this world.
But it has taken time
To get where I'm at,
To get up to bat
And take on new things.
All I can say
To you this day
Is to stay strong
Go long,
Keep going on
Do not stop.
Except to take time
To spend with Him.
And to marvel at who
He is and what He has done,
By sending His son
Who died for you.
Who has set me free
Do you not see?
He gave me victory
Over you Serpent!
